WR Cooper names favorites

Two-star wide receiver Marcus Cooper holds nearly a half dozen offers. Does the 6-foot-3, 185-pounder out of Bloomfield, Conn. have any favorites?
"I've got the same five offers, Temple, Massachusetts, Buffalo, Delaware and Troy," he said. "I'm consistently talking to Temple, UMass and Delaware. I'd say they are the ones sticking out to me the most since they are recruiting me the hardest.

"I've been to all of those campuses and like the locations, campus life and the help they give the players. I can see myself playing there."
Cooper is starting to consider officials.
"I know for sure one of my officials will be to UMass. I'm not sure when. I haven't set a date. The rest of the visits are up in the air."
Meanwhile, at least a few BCS schools are taking an interest.
"I hear from Iowa once in a while along with Connecticut and Boston College," he said. "Basically they are saying send film so they can evaluate me more. I just shipped that out."
On the season, Cooper has helped his team to a 2-2 record.
"We have had two real close losses. One thing I can say about our team is that we never give up," he said. "Right now I have 30 catches for 500-yards and nine touchdowns. I've had some drops here and there, but I feel I'm much more active with the ball this season. I'm concentrating a lot more too."
