Bloomfield, Conn. wide receiver Marcus Cooper holds five offers. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder hasn't picked up a scholarship from a BCS team to date, but believes one could come down the road.
"I've got offers from UMass, Delaware, Troy, Buffalo and Temple," he said. "Delaware and UMass are the most recent in the past month. I'm excited about those.
"Right now, I'm just deciding where I want to take unofficials."
One school that could possibly offer is Iowa.
"I'm hoping Iowa does offer, they are about the only other school talking to me that hasn't," he said. "Basically they said there should be a spot for me, but they want to wait and see how my first couple games go.
"If they offer, they would definitely be one of the top competitors for me. I like their coaching staff, the support and more."
The two-star prospect begins the season on Saturday.
"It should be exciting," he said. "Our team has come a long way. For one, we're more of a team and playing together.
"As for me, I'm catching and running the ball. I just want to continue working on my blocking for my teammates and help them with their confidence."
