WR close to making cuts
Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha wide receiver Chris Jones has almost fifteen offers and is starting to think about making some cuts. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Jones has taken a lot of visits and they have really helped him determine which schools he likes.
"Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska really want me to come out to the Midwest and I plan to get out there soon," said Jones. "South Carolina really wants me to come down to their camp. Of course Maryland is also really on me.

"I've visited Wake Forest and N.C. State," he said. "Last week I also visited Toledo, Ohio State and Cincinnati."
The Buckeyes are a team that Jones is very interested in and it seems the interest could be mutual.
"The Ohio State visit went really well," Jones said. "They talked to my coach and told him they really want me to come back down on July 26."
A shorter list could be on the horizon for Jones.
"I'll probably narrow my list down towards the end of the summer once I make all my visits," he said. "Then I'll probably make a top five soon after. I'm not sure when I'll make my decision."
Jones' most recent offers are from Boston College and Wake Forest.
