WR builds bond with Mizzou coach

La Marque, Texas, is always home to some of the top talent in Texas, and three-star receiver Jared Perry is no exception. The 6-foot, 155-pounder has been putting up good stats this season and he's also become a hot target for the college coaches.
"We played Dickerson last week and beat them 44-0," Perry said. "I had three catches for about 100 yards in the game and two touchdowns."

Perry is now starting to focus on where he'll be able to take his game after he's done with the Cougars.
"Kansas, Missouri, Colorado and Texas Tech are my main teams right now," Perry said. "I still like Ole Miss, but I haven't heard anything from them since the hurricane hit down there. I liked Oklahoma State a lot, but they've stopped calling me."
Perry said he's not sure if he has a favorite at this point, but he does have a favorite coach that he talks to.
"My favorite coach to talk to is probably coach Kul (Craig Kuligowski) from Missouri," Perry said. 'He's a real nice guy to talk to, and he's been calling me since May so we have a pretty good relationship developed.
"I like the Missouri offense a lot. I could step in early and play there, because they lose three seniors after this year. Playing early doesn't really matter too much to me. I'd like to redshirt my first year, but if a team needs me to play as a true freshman I will."
Perry is slated to visit Missouri on January 13, but before that he'll be at MU's rival Kansas on January 6.
