WR Boston picking up interest

After being named all-district, all-region and all-metro last season after hauling in 526 yards receiving and seven touchdowns, wide receiver Donte Boston out of Richmond (Va.) Varina was bound to start receiving college interest. The 6-foot-1, 160-pounder has been receiving mail mostly from the ACC.
"He's getting a lot of the same schools as the rest of our guys including Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State and others," Varina head coach Blanda Wolfe said. "He's wide open right now and just taking it all in."

What makes Boston stand out as a prospect?
"He probably has the best hands of anybody I've coached in a long while and he knows what he has to do to get better," he said. "I really think he needs to improve on his speed a little bit and then he'll be really hard to stop.
"He is very good anyway though and probably doesn't realize how talented he is. Last year we played seven on seven against Landstown and Percy Harvin and he beat Harvin. Donte is very good at matching up against his competition."
Boston is looking at heading to the Nike Camp at Penn State along with a team summer camp at West Virginia.
