Andre Hunt has one more visit before National Signing Day and it’s been a busy few weeks for the three-star receiver.

The Lancaster (Calif.) Paraclete standout was at Oregon State this past weekend and he had an excellent time as he got a much better feel for what the Beavers have to offer.

Oregon State’s new coaching staff definitely made an impact on Hunt, who had been committed to USC earlier in the recruiting process.

“I really liked it up there,” Hunt said. “Facilities are amazing. I really hit it off with coach (Kefense) Hynson.

“He is from the Bay Area and my dad has family there so that was an immediate click. I got about an hour of one-on-one time with coach (Jonathan) Smith. He talked about liking me as a tweener and really loving the option of using me both inside and outside.”

The Beavers are definitely a contender in Hunt’s recruitment - and a big reason why is because of the coaching staff.

“I like the staff he's put together,” Hunt said. “Everyone seems real open and personable. Coach Smith is a real straight shooter. I like that about him also. You can definitely tell he loves Oregon State and plans on turning things around there real quick.”

On Sunday night, the Lancaster Paraclete receiver had an in-home visit with Nebraska offensive coordinator and receivers coach Troy Walters. The three-star will visit Lincoln this weekend.

Hunt said San Diego State is also being seriously considered in his recruitment.
