WR all Dawg despite Ville interest

The last time we saw wide receiver Gilbert Johnson he was working out in a Vanderbilt shirt at the July Florida State camp.
He said not to read into his Commodores shirt. "I'm still a 110% committed to Georgia," stated an adamant Johnson. "Georgia fans have nothing to worry about neither do none of the coaches."

Johnson said Louisville continues to recruit him. He noted, "They are recruiting me hard. They are still trying to get me up there for an official visit, so they can get their last words in."
Tennessee is the other school Johnson mentioned as still keeping tabs on him.
Will he visit the Cardinals? Johnson responded, "Probably not."
As a junior, Johnson hauled in 35 passes for 572 yards and five scores at Miami (Fla.) Southridge.
He transferred to Homestead (Fla.) for his senior year. Johnson said, "Everything at Homestead is going pretty good. I'm fitting in real well with the offense we are running."
The transfer will likely help Johnson this fall. He will line up opposite Rivals100 wideout and Florida commit Ermon Lane. Johnson feels with Lane attracting double teams he will be left with more one-on-one match-ups and that has him excited.
Johnson turned in a solid performance scoring one of the two offensive touchdowns for the Broncos in their 41-21 loss against Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School ranked No. 38 ranked team in the RivalsHigh 100 rankings.
