Wozniak updates his recruitment

Greenwood (Ind.) Center Grove three-star tight end Nate Wozniak appeared close to making his college selection when his senior season began, but that decision never materialized. Wozniak shed light on where his recruitment stands this week.
"It's pretty much been going the same for the most part," Wozniak said. "I haven't really scheduled any [official visits] but I should be here soon, probably in December."

The 6-foot-9, 255-pound Wozniak had Purdue and Miami as his two favorites over the summer and confirmed they still hold onto those spots. No unofficial game visits have been taken this season, but he has maintained contact with coaching staffs at Purdue and Miami.
"[Purdue coaches] are just stressing for me to stick with it," Wozniak said. "They know that I still want to make a visit to Miami, and they are telling me just to stick with the process and to let them know what's on my mind recruiting-wise."
When Wozniak takes his official visit to Miami it will be his first visit of the Hurricanes campus in the recruiting process, but he has been keeping up with their progress from afar.
"I guess you could say I have been keeping up with them pretty consistently," Wozniak said. "I talk to Coach [Art] Kehoe about once every week or two.
"I think they have been doing well with what they have. They have a pretty rough schedule and they have a lot of young guys who are stepping up for them. It's pretty impressive the things they've been able to do."
Wozniak has helped lead Center Grove into the regional championship game this weekend against Castle. He has played exclusively at tight end this fall and continues to be recruited primarily for that position.
