Would Wahington Really Leave

Superstar defensive back/athlete Leon Washington from Jacksonville (Fla.) Jackson is down to South Carolina and Florida State. So would he really leave the state?
"Of course I would," said the 5-foot-10, 180-pounder who wants to be a running back in college. "What people don't understand about me is that I'm going to do what's right for me, whether that means leaving the state or staying."

Washington is being visited by coaches from Florida (Tuesday), South Carolina (Wednesday) and Florida State (Thursday) this week and hopes to have a decision by the weekend.
"I'm going to announce the day before Signing Day," he said. "I'm looking to see what kind of impact I can have early, what type of recruiting class I'm going in with and where I fit the best."
Washington said his official visits were a good indicator of how he'd fit in on campus, but his final decision will come based on other factors.
"I had the best time on my Florida visit, but I don't want to go there so I'm weighing alot more than just how good a time I had," he said. "This is an important decision and wherever I feel I can make the biggest impact and fit in the best -- that's where I'll go."
