Worthington anticipates great visit

Athol Springs (N.Y.) Saint Francis defensive end Doug Worthington continues to say he is a solid commitment to Ohio State. But what about the visit he had planned to Boston College this past weekend?
"I was supposed to go, but I didn't," Worthington said. "It was a whole bunch of things. It was a last minute thing. It was just too late a notice. And I had a big basketball scrimmage. I still might visit them some other time.

"I'm going this Saturday to Ohio State. That will be an official visit. I'm most definitely looking forward to it. It's going to be a great trip."
Asked if he still planned to visit a number of other schools, Worthington said, "Possibly. There's a possibility of Alabama. Possibly Wisconsin and Florida.
"But I'm real solid Ohio State. Most definitely."
The 6-foot-7, 256 pound Worthington is the Rivals.com No. 5 strongside defensive end prospect and the No. 4 prospect in the state of New York. Worthington made 86 tackles, had eight sacks, and 27 quarterback hurries his senior season as his team won eight of 10 games.
