Worley visits Rutgers, looks ahead

Daquan Worley of Coatesville, Pa. was at Rutgers more than a week ago for a junior day and the Scarlet Knights made a strong impression.
Growing up, Worley's favorite college team was Miami, but at this point he is still keeping an open mind about his recruiting process.

"It was the first junior day I had been to at Rutgers and I thought it was real nice," he said. "I liked the facilities and I liked the program. I see it going forward in the years to come. It's only about an hour from home. I'm from Philadelphia so it's about an hour. That's a nice distance. It's still close and that's what I'm looking for."
While location may be a factor for the 5-foot-10, 175-pound running back from Pennsylvania, it will not preclude him from choosing a school that is not close to home if it is the right fit.
"I was trying to get down to Georgia Tech in three weeks just to see the facilities," he said. "I haven't learned a lot about them. I just want to see how things are and if I like it."
Both schools have offered, as have Pitt and Massachusetts.
Last fall Worley rushed for 1,700 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also accounted for 40 tackles and three interceptions.
On April 27th, Worley will make his way to New Jersey once again for the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour.
