Woods Preparing For Next Trip

Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson offensive lineman Donnie Woods just saw one of his co-leaders last weekend and is preparing to see his other co-leader in two weeks. However, he has a stop in between that he's looking forward to and maybe another official visit to schedule.
"I went to North Carolina last weekend and was very impressed with the way the team hung together even though they lost," said the 6-foot-4, 290-pounder. "I also think I can play early there, maybe earlier than at any other school I'm looking at. I go to Oklahoma in a couple of weeks (Nov. 1) and I might have Tennessee this weekend. Tennessee might be moved to the week after Oklahoma when they play Miami. I'll know over the next couple of days. I also might re-schedule my official visit with South Carolina. My schedule is all messed up right now."

Woods lists the Tar Heels and Sooners as his strong leaders with UNC having the slight edge.
"But that's only because I visited them already and know more about that place," he said. "Oklahoma is a great team and I'm looking forward to visiting them. I also hear great things about Tennessee and I would like to see South Carolina since my trip got cancelled twice."
In addition to early playing time, Woods is looking for a good relationship with his position coach and a team that will always be competitive.
