Woodrow Wilson star picks Big 10

One of the Garden State's top prospects has made a decision. After taking his fifth and final official visit, Nyere Aumaitre of Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson is heading to Iowa. Rivals.com did have a chance to speak with his head coach at Woodrow Wilson, who confirmed the big news.
"He's going to Iowa," said coach Mike McBride.

"Nyere really liked everything about the school and was really impressed with the coaches. He feels that it would give him the best opportunity to get to the next level. He committed tonight."
Besides Iowa (Dec. 12), Aumaitre had visited Nebraska (Oct. 24), Tennessee (Nov. 22), NC State (Jan. 9) and Rutgers (Jan. 16). He had offers from all of them.
"I really thought he was going to end up at Nebraska," the coach said. "He liked them from the start and then when they hired the new coach from the Oakland Raiders. I thought that would have done it, but he just liked Iowa too much."
Rivals.com ranks Nyere as the No. 39 offensive tackle in the country.
