Woodlands RB drawing early looks

The Woodlands, Texas running back Cameron Montgomery played behind Samson Taylor this year. Next year, he will be the main guy for Weldon Willig's team.
"Cameron is going be a very good running back," Willig said. "He has good size and can run. He didn't get as many carries as he would have liked or as many as he will next year. But, that is because we had Samson. Next year he will be our guy."

Despite not carrying the ball a lot, Montgomery has already grabbed the eye of college recruiters with his 6-foot-1, 205-pound frame.
"Cameron can run," Willig said. "He is sub 4.50 in the 40. He's already got schools sending him stuff. I don't know if any of them have offered scholarships or not, but the list of schools is impressive."
Montgomery has already gotten mail from several Big12 Conference schools including Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Kansas State and Kansas.
