Woodland down to two

Outside linebacker Louis Woodland had the opportunity to play Division I-A football at Cincinnati, which is an opportunity many prospects might jump at. However, he's decided to choose another path where playing time might be more abundant.
"I was supposed to visit Cincinnati this weekend, but I thought it over and decided I'll be going in a different direction," said Woodland. Schools like Cincy, Pitt and Maryland were recruiting me, but I really wanted to go somewhere that would allow me to get on the field pretty early.

"I'm pretty much down to James Madison and Fordham right now. I guess I'd be open to schools that are offering that playing time, but that's really my biggest concern right now."
What does the 6-foot-4, 226-pound linebacker from Silver Spring (Md.) Springbrook like about those two schools?
"Like I said, the ability to play early is going to be very big for me. And I've just really clicked with the coaching staff at both schools. They've been up-front with me this entire process and they've made it clear that they'd love to have me. I want to be somewhere I feel like I can contribute."
