Wooden talks Terps

Baltimore (Md.) Gilman safety Ambrose Wooden was one of the many talented players in College Park this past weekend visiting Maryland. How did his visit go?
"I had a good time," said the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder. "I was hosted by Dominique Foxworth and everyone seemed to have a good time. There are some crazy characters there and the recruits on hand all got along well."

Wooden, who was rumored to be a strong lean towards Notre Dame heading into his visit, is now wide open.
"I liked Maryland and I need to give it a few days to sink in," he said. "They're right up there with Notre Dame and BC. I really enjoyed all three visits and each school provides a different opportunity. Stanford is in the mix a little as well and I have them set for Jan. 10. There's a chance I decide before that, but I don't think I will."
Next up for Wooden is the US Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Tex.
"I'm looking forward to that," he said. "I'll take my Stanford visit right after that and then probably decide. Right now I have no idea where I'm going."
