Wooden returns from long trip

Baltimore (Md.) Gilman safety/athlete Ambrose Wooden took a trip out west this past weekend, hoping it would give him some time to think about his three favorite schools. Instead, his trip to Palo Alto, Cal. added a fourth team to the mix.
"Stanford was great, it was beautiful out there," said the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder. "I really had a good time and it put Stanford right in the mix. I almost decided not to take the visit, but I'm glad I did. I had a great time."

Now comes the hard part -- decision time. Wooden has enjoyed every visit he's taken and each program wants to utilize his talents in a different way.
"It's down to Notre Dame, Boston College, Maryland and Stanford," he said. "It will be tougher than ever. I have coaches coming in all this week so maybe I can decide next week."
Notre Dame wants Wooden as a wideout, BC as a cornerback, Maryland as a quarterback and Stanford as an athlete.
