Woodbridge has two to watch

Woodbridge (Va.) Woodbridge Senior was home to one of the top running backs on the East Coast in 2009. The school features two more prospects to watch in 2010, leading the way is 5-foot-9, 165-pound cornerback Demetrius Quarles.
"To me, he's one of the more dynamic players around this area," Woodbridge head coach Keith King said of Quarles. "He's got what most people don't have, natural instincts of the game. His biggest attribute is that he sees everything on the field. He understand how things develop and reads plays and gets to the line of scrimmage to make tackles.

"This coming year he won't step off the field. He's a very explosive player that has outstanding speed and great hands. As a cornerback, he has great hips. He's also a solid student."
Quarles posted 10 receptions, five of which went for touchdowns. He also pulled in six interceptions last season for Woodbridge.
Despite his size, teams see his ability.
"Coach Poindexter from Virginia isn't worried about his size because he can flat out play," he said. "A lot of schools are looking at his tape. I know Towson and Connecticut are looking too."
Another prospect to watch is 6-foot-5, 195-pound quarterback Frank Buckley.
"He threw for 1,600 yards, 16 touchdowns and four interceptions last year," he said. "That was his first year starting. He throws the ball really well and could be the most accurate passer I've been around.
"He's got the biggest hands I've ever seen. Bad weather doesn't affect what he does. He's going to be an exceptional quarterback. He's a Joe Flacco type of quarterback that can make every throw you need to in high school. He can win games with his arm and whoever gets him will be getting a steal."
An impressive 3.3 GPA student, Buckley is beginning to get looks from a few colleges.
"Boston College, Rutgers and Virginia are looking," he said. "He's a certain type of fit.
"The thing is he is a student of the game. He is tough too, he plays hockey and isn't afraid to hit somebody."
