Woodard takes first official visit

Wide receiver O.J. Woodard out of Pompton Lakes, N.J. took his first official over a week ago. What did the 6-foot-4, 205-pounder think of the visit and where is he headed next?
"I went to Central Michigan," he said. "It was a nice trip. I checked out the campus, met the players and hung out with my host. All the players talked a lot about the coaching staff and how good and nice they are. I saw it for myself."

Before he left, the three-star prospect was able to talk to Brian Kelly.
"I got to talk to him and he was really nice," he said. "After I left though, I found out they all left for Cincinnati. I think I'm going to take a visit there."
Currently two teams are leading for Woodard's services.
"I've very open, but I am looking at visits to Cincinnati and Syracuse," he said. "I like the coaching staff that's at Cincinnati now. They work hard and treat their players really well.
"As for Syracuse, they haven't been talking to me too much recently. They do still seem interested."
One school that is out of the picture is Minnesota.
"I was supposed to take an official there last weekend," he said. "They took my scholarship away though since they suffered a lot of injuries and needed a junior college player to come in right away."
