The Long Beach (Calif.) Poly recruit said Boise State has reached out recently and after a good showing against Centennial, he hopes an offer from the Broncos could be on the horizon.
"Earlier in the week I started talking to Boise State," Woodard said after the Centennial win. "The coaches have heard that I've been balling. They told me to handle my business this week and we'll talk. I only had one ball caught on me for eight yards so that's good.
"They said we'll talk soon. I'm going to hit them up and see if I can get that offer."
Woodard, who lists offers from Arizona State, Houston and San Jose State, said three other Pac-12 programs are showing interest, and he's hopeful offers are close.
The 5-foot-10 cornerback had good showings at Arizona's and Oregon State's camp in recent months and wants to talk more with the coaches to gauge where he stands on their recruiting boards. He thinks both schools are highly interested.
"Arizona is supposed to offer," Woodard said. "They said they were going to offer after I went out there for the camp. I don't know what happened.
"Oregon State is supposed to be offering, too. I went to their camp and I didn't have a ball caught on me all camp. Hopefully I get some offers soon because it's been cold for a while."
The Long Beach Poly recruit is taking his time with recruiting. He said no official visits are being planned until after his senior season.
