Wood hoping for Wolverine offer

Lo Wood is a defensive back from Apopka (Fla.) High School. Wood, 5-11 and 170 pounds, will be one of the top rated cornerback prospects from the Sunshine State for the Class of 2010. So far this season Wood has 17 tackles, two interceptions, three forced fumbles and two tackles for a loss.
"I think I am a good man-to-man cornerback," Wood said. "I am aggressive and I can be pretty physical out there."

So far Wood has one scholarship offer from Florida International while schools like Auburn and Florida are really recruiting him hard, according to Wood.
"Michigan is my favorite and I sure hope they offer me. I just have always liked them. It's big blue man and that great stadium. My teammate (Jeremy Gallon) is going there."
Wood's team is 6-1 on the season with their lone loss coming at the hands of Batesville (Miss.) South Panola High School. This weekend they take on Winter Park (Fla.) High School.
Wood has attended one game this season (Miami/Florida). He is scheduled to visit Ann Arbor on October 25th for their game against Michigan State.
