Womble ready to end recruitment

Sierra Vista (Ariz.) Buena running back Jamal Womble took his fourth and final official visit this past weekend to Arizona State. Womble also checked out South Carolina, North Carolina and Boston College and will make his college choice known this Wednesday.
Womble, 5-11, 220 pounds doesn't live too far from the ASU campus but the official visit he just took over the weekend was his first time in Tempe.

"Yeah, I had never been on campus before and never seen a game live there before," Womble said. "I really like the trip a lot though, I had a great time.
"The high point for me was hanging with the coaching staff. I really like all those guys a lot, especially coach Cozzetto and coach Erickson. Coach Erickson has been personally recruiting me a lot and has been calling me over the last month.
"He said he really likes me a lot and feels I would be a good fit in their one back offense and I do as well. The game was real exciting and I loved the crowd atmosphere. It wasn't quite as crazy as South Carolina but right there with North Carolina.
"T.J Simpson was my host and I already knew him pretty well because were roommates at a summer camp a few years ago. He showed me all around the city and I liked Tempe a lot. It's a cool place, a college town and I was very comfortable there.
"Right now, I've narrowed my schools down to ASU, North Carolina and South Carolina. I have a press conference set for this Wednesday (Dec. 5) at 2:30. I have a good idea right now where I'm going but I don't want to give any hints right now. I can say I think it will surprise a lot of people but that's all I'm going to say right now."
