"I'm going to Michigan camp," Mixon said. "Michigan is my favorite. I've been there the most. I know the most about them. They're supposed to offer soon."
Mixon recently got back from Junior Days in Ann Arbor and in his hometown.
"I went to Michigan and UC junior days. Both of them were good," he said. "Cincinnati is building a lot of new stuff."
Miami (Ohio) already has offered Mixon. He is interested in several others.
"I'm interested in Michigan, Alabama, Florida, West Virginia, Minnesota, probably Virginia Tech," Mixon said.
As far as which schools he will visit, he hasn't determined that yet.
Mixon made 100 tackles including nine sacks as he was names all-conference and all-city. He played inside linebacker during his junior year after a sophomore season at defensive end.
Recruiters see Mixon as a linebacker.
