Aubrey McPhadden says a new team is making a strong push to
get into his final list of five.
"N.C. State is probably recruiting me harder than
anyone right now," said McPhadden, a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast
Top 100 team and rated the No. 9 offensive tackle prospect in
the nation. "They've shown the most interest of late, them and Florida
State. I've been watching (the Wolfpack) a lot on TV lately. They're really
playing great, something like 9-1 right now. I'm looking forward to seeing
how they do against Florida State (on Nov. 23 in Raleigh)."
McPhadden (6-6, 320, 5.15) said he's currently in
the process of setting up his official visits. Florida State, Florida and
LSU are close to being locked in for three of the five spots. And the other
two?
"As of now, I'd say N.C. State and Miami have a
pretty good shot," he said.
"All of those are on equal footing right now. I
don't really talk about favorites. They all have nice coaches and good
offensive styles I'd like to play in. When I make my visits, I'll be able to
say who's best. I hope it's a little easier then than it is now. It's been a
tough decision."
