Wolfpack have edge for five-star

The top player in the state of North Carolina isn't closing any doors. Defensive tackle DeMario Pressley doesn't have any favorites, but that could change with a busy summer ahead.
"I don't have any favorites now," said Pressley, who is widely believed to be the top prospect in North Carolina. "I like a lot of schools and I don't want to eliminate anyone yet or put anyone ahead of the others."

Last year as a junior for Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley, Pressley recorded 97 tackles and 14 sacks. With excellent senior defensive linemen such as Mario Williams, Terry Hunter, Isaiah Thomas, Demarcus Tyler and Marcus Hands in the state last year, Pressley didn't get the respect a player of his caliber normally would have. He's 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds. He has all the tools to become an excellent college football player. Where will he camp over the summer?
"I'm going to camp at Wake Forest, Clemson, NC State and North Carolina," said Pressley. "I'm going to the Down 'N Dirty camp in Florida also. We're supposed to go to Tennessee and maybe Notre Dame.
"I've already unofficially visited North Carolina, Clemson, NC State and Wake Forest. I really liked NC State's new facilities a lot -- especially the huge statue with the wolves outside the stadium," he laughed. "That was a really good trip."
Pressley has offers pouring in from all over the country. In addition to offers from every ACC school, he has offers from Miami, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida, Notre Dame, Penn State and UCLA among others.
"Just about everybody is sending me stuff and offering. It's hard to narrow things down when you're getting so much from so many schools. I'm going to take my time and look at each school before I make a decision."
