Wolfpack fading for Florida LB

Three-star Miami (Fla.) Edison linebacker Brouce Mompremier says he playoff schedule forced him to cancel a visit to N.C. State this weekend.
“We made it another round in the playoffs, so I had to move that one and one I had next week for Kansas,” he said. “I’m not sure if I’m going to reschedule the one for N.C. State. They haven’t called me recently, so I don’t know what’s going on there. If they don’t get back in touch with me, I might take that one somewhere else.

“The Kansas visit will be on Jan. 23 now. One of their coaches came to the house to see me last week. That went pretty well. I’m interested to see what they have to offer out there.”
Mompremier (6-0, 210, 4.6) also has an official visit scheduled for South Florida on Jan. 9. He said the remaining dates would likely be between Tennessee, Florida State and N.C. State.
“I’m open right now,” he said. “Things have changed some during the season, so I’m trying to keep an open mind to everything.”
As a senior, Mompremier recorded more than 140 tackles and five sacks. He’s rated the No. 12 outside linebacker in the nation by Rivals.com.
