Three-star running back Gregory Howell from Coral Gables (Fla.) saw his senior season end in heartbreaking fashion on Saturday afternoon. Coral Gables fell to Homestead (Fla.) South Dade, 6-0, after Howell's squad allowed the game's only touchdown with fourteen seconds left in regulation. Howell ran for 65 yards on 21 carries, but it wasn't enough.

Howell will now turn all of his attention to recruiting. The Coral Gables standout is working on setting up trips to Western Kentucky and Hawaii in the coming weeks.
"I'm probably going to go on a visit to Western Kentucky very soon," stated Howell. "And probably talk to the coaches at Hawaii about a visit. I want to check out any school I can to see where I fit in and see which schools want me."
A couple of Florida Atlantic coaches were in attendance for his game and he said he is going to give them a look.
Hawaii is a new school on his radar and Western Kentucky has continued to recruit him despite his affinity for Minnesota. The Gophers were his leader when Howell was set to announce his decision last week before backing off on his selection.
"WKU coach Lamar Thomas is recruiting me and he has been talking to me a lot on social media," noted Howell. "I know a receiver they have up there, Nicholas Norris, that I played little league with so if I go up there I will feel comfortable knowing someone there already."
In addition to the familiarity factor the Hilltoppers have a 1,700-yard rusher in Antonio Andrews, who ranks fourth in the FBS in rushing yards.
Howell says he is still considering Minnesota and they are among his top two along with Western Kentucky.
As a senior, Howell ran for 1,567 yards on 232 carries and 13 touchdowns.
