Atlanta Grady linebacker John Law has heard from a number of people since having a strong showing at the Rivals.com/VTO Sports Georgia Elite 100 Camp in Marietta, Ga., on Saturday.
"I talked to a coach from Western Kentucky, and he said he saw it on Rivals," Law said. "A lot of people have been saying they saw something about it on the Internet."
As of Tuesday afternoon, Western Kentucky is Law's only offer. But the 5-foot-11, 227-pounder is optimistic that will change.
"Right now, I'm hearing from Kentucky and Tennessee," he said.
Thus far, Law, who is being recruited primarily as a middle linebacker, has visited only Georgia and Western Kentucky. He plans on taking part in camps this summer at both Georgia and Kentucky. Law had hoped to attend Georgia's spring game this weekend but has a scheduling conflict and won't be able to make it.
According to Law, Western Kentucky is his current leader.
"That's who I have an offer from," he said. "I liked the campus there and everything. I got a chance to meet with [head coach Willie Taggart] and talk about the program. I like it."
As for last weekend's performance in Marietta, Law wasn't completely satisfied.
"I feel like I did a pretty good job in one-on-ones, but I could have done a little better in coverage drills," Law said. "I definitely have to improve on the coverage."
