With new offer, four-star OL names top five

Four-star offensive lineman Torrian Wilson excels at the football factory of Miami (Fla.) Northwestern and has received offers from around the country. Recently Wilson added offers from Alabama and Colorado State. The Alabama offer in particular helped Wilson shape his new top five.
"I'm very excited about the Alabama offer because I always wanted an offer from them," Wilson said. "That's a school that I'm excited about. They have good offensive linemen and the offensive linemen go to the NFL."

Bobby Williams has been recruiting Wilson for the Crimson Tide and though he has been in communication with the staff for some time, the offer didn't come until very recently.
"I was hearing a lot from Alabama but they never gave me the offer until two days ago," he said.
With the addition of Alabama to Wilson's offer list, he has put together a top five. In rare form for a highly rated Florida prospect, there isn't an in-state program in sight.
"I have a top five," he said. "It's Michigan, Stanford, Tennessee, Alabama and UCLA. It's not in that order but that's my top five."
With such a diverse group of schools, what were the factors that Wilson kept in mind for his top five?
"I'm just looking at academics first and then atmosphere of the school and the city," he said. "After that I'm looking at the athletics."
As spring practice begins to wind down, Wilson will be thinking about his summer schedule. He hopes to camp at a couple of his top five programs but at this point has not set anything in stone.
