With 11 offers, Cooper remains open

Three-star wide receiver Corey Cooper of Raleigh (N.C.) Millbrook feels the same about every new offer.
"They're all exciting," he said.
Cooper's latest offer came Tuesday night from Vanderbilt. That gives him 11 total.
"I talked to [receivers] coach [Josh Gattis]," Cooper said. "He said they really want me there. He was telling me that him and the coaching staff love my highlight tape. I was real excited. I think I'm going to take a visit to Vanderbilt real soon and see what it's all about. I don't know much about Vanderbilt right now."
At this stage, Cooper has no leaders, he said.
"I want to take all my visits before I narrow my list," Cooper said. "I should have a decision before early August. So far, I've been to N.C. State, North Carolina, Duke and Maryland. I really liked Maryland. They showed me a lot. I have a friend that plays receiver there. We've been talking a lot, and he's saying Maryland is a fun place. There's a lot to do in D.C., and it's only 10 minutes away."
According to the 6-feet-1, 192-pound Cooper, he will visit North Carolina on Thursday and South Carolina on Saturday. He also hopes to check out Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Tennessee during the next week. This Sunday, he will compete in the Rivals.com/VTO Sports Elite 100 camp in Charlotte.
As far as offers go, Cooper doesn't think he's done getting them.
"Clemson or Miami will probably be next," he said. "It's probably going to be Miami. The coach from Miami said he really liked my highlight tape. He's got to give it to the offensive coordinator. If he likes it, they're going to offer me. I think that will probably happen in the next week or two. I have very strong feelings."
