Wiser narrows list to four

Westlake Village (Calif.) Oak Christian is loaded with D-I talent for the class of 2007. There are nine players from the class who have offers on the table. One of them is wide receiver/safety Sean Wiser (6-2, 190, 4.55).
Wiser earned all-league, all-CIF and was all-academic as a junior.
On the offensive side of the ball Wiser caught 42 passes for 910 yards and 13 touchdowns. On defense, Wiser accounted for 52 tackles and four interceptions. In the classroom, Wiser carries a better than perfect 4.2 GPA.
The two-way standout has offers on the table from Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State, Virginia, Duke, Northwestern, Utah, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Troy State.
Wiser will once again play on both sides of the ball for Oaks Christian. He attended the first day at the Beyond 2000 Elite Camp and then took part with his Oaks Christian teammates at the Saugus Passing League Tournament this past weekend.
According to those in attendance Wiser was one of the difference makers in Oaks Christian's Tournament win.
Wiser is mostly being recruited as a wide receiver at this point.
"All of the schools that have offered me said I would start my career as a wide receiver," Wiser said. "If that doesn't work out then safety is an option."
"Right now I have pretty much narrowed things down to a top four. They are Stanford, Oregon, Duke and Virginia.
"I should have my mind made up by the end of the summer or by the beginning of the football season."
"I have taken unofficial visits to Stanford, Oregon and Duke," Wiser said. "I will visit Virginia in August when we have a two-week break from football."
