Wisconsin prospect has six offers

"Wisconsin has offered him as a tight end," Brookfield (Wis.) Central coach Rick Synold said when asked about his star player Joe Thomas. "Iowa offered as defensive lineman, USC as an offensive lineman, and Purdue for defense."
"Northwestern and Colorado have offered too. And Miami and Stanford have been in."

"He's going to Notre Dame's camp this summer."
"He definitely wants to do both football and track in college. I don't think he has a favorite right now."
Thomas, 6-foot-7 and 270 pounds, has run the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds. He will be a four year varsity starter who played tight end, defensive end, some fullback, and did his teams punting and kicking during his junior season.
Thomas, who bench presses 370 pounds and squats over 500, has a 3.6 GPA.
