Wisconsin commitment visits Minnesota

Warren (Ohio) Howland running back and Wisconsin commitment Lance Smith made an official visit to Minnesota. Smith is home from the trip and says he is still a Badger. But one other Big Ten visit is still a slight possibility.
"I visited Minnesota," Smith said. "I liked it a lot. I liked the pro atmosphere. I enjoyed it overall.

"I talked to some of the running backs and the coaches. They are good people. They have a commitment to running the ball."
But Smith has not changed his commitment.
"I'm still committed to Wisconsin," he said.
Does that mean his visit to Madison in January will be his only other trip?
"I visit Wisconsin Jan. 13," Smith said. "I talked to Penn State about a visit. But I don't know. I committed to Wisconsin."
The 5-foot-10 and 190 pound Smith rushed for 1845 yards during his senior season. Smith averaged 9.8 yards per carry and scored 20 times. He is the No. 36 prospect in the state of Ohio in the Rivals.com player rankings.
