Wilson thrilled for Pac-12 trip

Nick Wilson has an unofficial visit planned to Arizona for early February and it could be an important trip since the 2014 running back from Fresno (Calif.) Central East loves what he's hearing from the coaching staff.
Basically, the word is Wilson could be a special back in Arizona's offense much like Ka'Deem Carey and for the four-star prospect that's great news.

"I'm really looking forward to that visit," Wilson said. "I've been looking forward to it for more than a month ever since I was invited. I'm researching it and waiting. I want to check the school out and I hope I have fun there.
"Coach (Rich) Rodriguez and the running backs coach compared me to Ka'Deem Carey. I looked at it and watched him and we do run in a similar way. He looks like me in pads, too. His running style is almost exactly like my style."
Arizona and Boise State have offered Wilson so far in his recruitment and he's already taken an unofficial trip to Boise. He was especially impressed by the coaching staff and said it would be an outstanding place to be but doesn't want to rush a commitment.
"I took a visit to Boise already and I met the entire coaching staff," Wilson said. "I really enjoyed myself in Boise. That's a really good place to be."
Wilson, a 5-foot-11, 195-pound recruit who looked good at the Army National Combine, just returned to school this week from holiday break and said he expects to hear from a lot more schools soon.
So far, Vanderbilt has shown more interest but it could really pick up soon.
"I haven't been back in school yet so I haven't seen which new letters I got but I know Vanderbilt is showing more interest," Wilson said. "That's the only one I've got since I came back from San Antonio.
"Vandy could be a good place. I'm really not too sure about them right now. I have to do some research on that school. Anything could happen as long as I'm comfortable with the school."
