Wilson recruitment gets busy

Nick Wilson just wrapped up his junior season and the next step for the Fresno (Calif.) Central East running back is to send out his highlight tape.
It's sure to impress coaches across the country.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound prospect in the 2014 class already has an offer from Arizona and said programs from many major conferences are showing interest.
On that list showing interest already are Notre Dame, Arizona State, Boise State, Cal, Florida State, Tennessee, Oregon State and Washington.
Wilson, who helped lead Fresno Central East to 11 wins this season, said he hopes to get his final tape done soon so there's a good chance he could land more offers leading into the off-season.
"I'm waiting for coaches to see my final highlight tape," Wilson said.
"I'm planning on sending it out and seeing what happens from there. I want to send it out to some coaches who are interested but haven't seen it yet."
Since Fresno Central East is such a prolific program with Wilson and Michiah Quick leading the 2014 class and Oklahoma commit Hatari Byrd, Johnny Johnson and L.J. Moore this recruiting cycle, early exposure has not been an issue.
Recently, Wilson got a chance to sit down with Quick when Notre Dame assistant coach Mike Denbrock visited the school.
The Irish have not offered Wilson yet but he's hoping after his film gets out that more teams will get in the mix.
"As of right now I've just been talking to coaches," Wilson said. "I hope the film interests them even more."
