Wilson producing, waiting for offers

Jensen Beach (Fla.) running back Tevin Wilson stole the headlines recently when he racked up 353 yards and five touchdowns in leading his team to a victory over nearby Titusville (Fla.). It marked the continuation of a strong senior campaign for Wilson. In six games, he has racked up 1,344 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground.
Despite his gaudy numbers, not a single college has pulled the trigger and offered the 5-foot-11, 180-pound running back.

"I have been getting letters from schools but I haven't gotten any offers yet," Wilson said. "I am getting basic stuff about schools trying to persuade me to come there, but I haven't got much in regards to coming to the school for football."
Miami, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Tech, N.C. State, and Nebraska are some of the main schools sending information at this time.
Wilson believes that eventually, as his senior film gets out, that schools will come along with official offers.
"I believe they are going to come," Wilson said. "It is just midseason, so I am pretty sure it is going to pick up down the road."
The talented back said he is willing to play anywhere, but if he has his way he hopes to be part of a strong, up-and-coming program in the college ranks.
"I just want to go to a great Division I school and play," Wilson said. "I believe I can stand out on that level like I am now. I just want to be able to play at that level. I would love to play running back, but I will play any position."
Wilson is scheduled to take the ACT this weekend.
