Wilson has early top five

Nick Wilson already has an offer from Arizona and the 2014 running back from Fresno (Calif.) Central East has put together an early top five.
Arizona, Boise State, Cal, Oregon and Notre Dame make up the early leaders for the 5-foot-11, 195-pound prospect who might be close to two other offers.

"Cal and Boise State are kind of close to offering me," Wilson said.
"The running backs coach from Cal said he really likes me and that an offer shouldn't be an issue, he just wants to get to know me a little bit more. Boise State I met all the coaches and they seem to like me a lot but they take their time so it could be any time now."
Arizona was the first school to offer the 2014 standout and he said after giving the Wildcats a closer look he definitely likes what he sees. The fast, explosive offense could fit the 2014 prospect.
"I've been talking to Arizona a lot," Wilson said.
"I just got off the phone with them earlier. They're a really good school and I really like them. I noticed them over the years and now that they've offered I'm paying more attention and I really like them."
Fresno Central East is loaded with recruits going to different colleges but Wilson said he wants to do his own thing.
This recruiting cycle Hatari Byrd is committed to Oklahoma and both L.J. Moore and Johnny Johnson have top Division I offers but Wilson said when it's time for him to commit he wants to make his own decision.
"I've never been a follower," Wilson said. "I never followed anybody.
"My decision will be based on where I want to go. If it happens that it's the same place and it's a school I really like and I want to go that could be the case but for the most part I kind of want to do my own thing. I don't want anybody else to influence my decision."
