Wilson continues to add offers

Dublin (Ohio) Jerome wide receiver Cameron Wilson picked up his first offer right at the turn of the new year, and has seen that number grow to nine in the course of the last three months. With more offers likely on their way, Wilson is still being patient and not rushing his process.
"Vanderbilt, Syracuse and Iowa are my most recent [offers] and they all happened within the past few weeks," Wilson reported.

Those three offers join previous tenders from Boston College, Illinois, Kentucky, Purdue, Toledo, Vanderbilt and West Virginia. Wilson made an unofficial visit to Boston College at the end of January.
"I went to Illinois for a junior day, and that's the only one since [Boston College]," Wilson said. "I had never been there before, so I was pretty excited to see it. We went to the basketball game and saw the facilities. Everything was pretty nice, especially the weight room."
This spring, Wilson is focused on weight training and preparation for his senior season. Without a spring sport to occupy his time, the chance to see more schools is available.
"I'm probably going to get out to Boston again, and Illinois for a spring practice, then Iowa and Purdue will be easy to go there because it is closer," Wilson said.
With nine offers and several unofficial visits under his belt, is Wilson ready to start working towards a final college decision?
"I don't think quite yet because I think I could have some more offers come in and don't know all the options I have to weigh yet," he said. "Pretty soon I should be starting to narrow it down, though."
A second team all-state honoree as a junior, Wilson caught 77 passes for 1,079 yards and eight touchdowns last fall. The 6-2, 180-pound prospect expects to stay at the wide receiver position in college.
"[College coaches] usually ask me and I tell them wide receiver, so I think it is all wide receiver right now," he said.
