N.C. State has lured one of the nation’s top prospects out of the Sunshine State.
Four-star Palm Beach (Fla.) Gardens defensive end Willie Young announced his decision to play for the Wolfpack this morning in a ceremony at his school.
“It was a very tough decision for him,” said school administrator Joan Herndon. “He told us that he didn’t know where he was going until he actually sat down in the chair to announce it. I think he’s very relieved now and seems really excited to be going to N.C. State.

Young (6-5, 210, 4.63) picked N.C. State over Florida and Ohio State.
Rated the No. 14 weakside defensive end in the nation by Rivals.com, Young had 65 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 12 sacks as a senior.
