Williamsport Duo Commit
Williamsport (Pa.) Williamsport Area teammates Ray Brooks and Darrell Blackman have long been considered a package deal. Now it's official....almost.
"We committed to NC State this weekend, but we're still going to take our other visits," said Brooks, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive end. "We actually were hoping to keep it quiet, but all these phone calls have come in since we got back today."

Brooks and Blackman loved what they saw at NC State.
"It was a really good visit and we both felt we could impact there," he said. "The players were all cool and the coaches are great. We still have some other places to see, but I don't see either of us changing our minds right now."
Brooks and Blackman, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound tailback and stellar basketball player, will be at Maryland this upcoming weekend (Dec. 13). Then in January, Brooks heads to Virginia on Jan. 17 and Blackman goes to Oklahoma on the same date.
"It will give us a chance to see another school separately so we can see what's right for us," he said. "It's NC State for the two of us right now though."
