Williams uses camp to boost stock

Rokeem Williams of Williston (S.C.) Elko thinks he's performing well in front of college coaches at camp. Because of that, the senior-to-be receiver is hopeful more offers could be on the way.
Thus far, Miami (OH), Georgia State and Virginia Military have pulled the trigger.

"I'm at Clemson right now, and my overall performance today was really good," Williams said. "They're looking at me real good right now. They were recruiting me to play defensive back. But I came to camp to compete as a wide receiver. So that's what they're looking at me as. I'm just trying to perform good and get an offer."
According to Williams, Vanderbilt also is showing interest.
He camped there Sunday.
"I performed good there," Williams said. "Their wide receiver coach and recruiting coach from my area both said they like me. They said they would get together and talk it over. They said they were leaning toward offering me. They wanted me to call them [Tuesday night]."
Williams hopes that call will come with an offer but he isn't getting his hopes up just yet.
"An offer from an SEC school would be big," he said. "I think they like me a lot, but I'm from a really small school. I don't think they're ready to offer me yet."
