Williams to visit Kansas State first

Navarro (Texas) College cornerback Kyle Williams has lined up his first visit of the year for next weekend.
“Yeah, I know what places I’m going to visit,” the 6-foot-1, 190-pound Williams said. “I’m going to Kansas State next weekend (11/21) for their game against Missouri. I also am planning to visit Arkansas, Texas A&M and TCU. I don’t have any dates set for the other three.”

Williams is considered one of the nation’s best junior college cornerbacks. He is a player Navarro coach Chuck Lawrence said earlier he doesn’t look forward to replacing.
“We haven’t had to worry about his side,” Lawrence said. “He’s big enough and strong enough to match up with the bigger receivers in the game, now. He just has really good instincts to match up out there.”
Williams has another semester at Navarro before graduating.
“I will be back here in the spring,” Williams said. “I won’t graduate in time to go in the spring. But, I’ll start working on learning things as soon as I get signed and the school gives me stuff to work on.”
