Williams to visit Aggies and Hogs

Navarro (Texas) College cornerback Kyle Williams has not had anything change on the recruiting scene since he took his first visit three weeks ago.
“It has been the same,” the 6-foot-1, 190-pound Williams said. “Nothing new has really come up. I’m close to finalizing a couple other visits. Texas A&M and Arkansas will have me in during January. But, I don’t have any dates set.”

While the four-star rated cornerback has not taken any visits since his Nov. 21 trip to Kansas State, several schools have been by the Corsicana campus to visit with him.
“Arkansas, TCU and Kansas State have been by the school already,” he said. “I’m sure they’ll come by again and maybe some others will be too.”
Williams took phone calls from two coaches today.
“Coach (James) Shibest called from Arkansas today,” he said. “And coach (Bob) Elliott from Kansas State called today. They were both just touching base with me. Coach Shibest keeps telling me he wants to get me scheduled to visit. We’ll get that done. Coach Elliott asked me if I watched their game on Saturday night. I did. It was a big game. But, I knew it was going to happen. I knew they’d win. All the people kept saying they didn’t have a chance. But, I knew they did. I had been around those guys. They were ready.”
