Williams talks favorites and visits

Chicago Gordon Tech three-star defensive end Raequan Williams already has several summer visits under his belt, and the most recent school he visited is also his favorite.
"There are others, but Iowa is probably at the top," Williams said. "I haven't seen all the schools I want to see so I don't have a feel on my (favorites) list yet. When I see every school I will have a top five or top couple."

Among other schools he has seen, Williams listed Arizona and Northern Illinois as two that have piqued his interest. A final decision, however, is likely months away.
"I want to take a couple official visits, so I will probably have to take it into my senior year," Williams said.
Williams visited Iowa two weekends ago. He also visited Purdue and Missouri during the month of June.
"I went to Mizzou just before the Iowa visit," he said. "That was my first visit (to Missouri). It was a pretty nice place. I liked it and they have good people."
No other summer visits are currently planned, but Williams could see a few more schools before he starts official visits in the fall.
"I will probably go see Kentucky, but I haven't planned it yet," Williams said. "The coaches seem like good people, and I want to give them a chance and see the campus."
The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Williams is rated as the nation's No. 24 strongside defensive end and the state of Illinois' No. 5 recruit in the 2015 class.
