Williams returns from first visit

Navarro (Texas) College cornerback Kyle Williams took his first official visit of the recruiting season over the weekend.
“I had a real good time at Kansas State,” the 6-foot-1, 190-pound Williams said. “They beat Missouri. The defense played real well. And the offense just ran it right at Missouri’s defense. Everyone was in a good mood after the game. They won their division and get to play for the conference title in a couple weeks.”

Williams was hosted on his visit by junior cornerback Cedrick Williams.
“Cedrick was a real good person,” Williams said. “All of the team is. But Cedrick was really good to talk to. He filled me in on how things were for him since he was a junior college player coming to a school like he did.”
Williams was able to sit down and talk with Wildcat coach Bill Snyder.
“Coach Snyder talked about me coming in to play for him,” he said. “He wants me to come there. He is a great man. I enjoyed talking to him.”
Williams doesn’t graduate until May, so he has time to check out a few more schools.
“I want to visit a few more places,” he said. “I don’t have any other visits set up yet. But, I’ve got time. I’ll probably visit some of them in January. I’m looking at visiting Arkansas, Texas A&M and TCU.”
