Williams recaps two trips

Madison (Fla.) three-star cornerback Shedrick Williams claims offers from Arkansas, Florida, Louisville, Massachusetts, Ole Miss, South Florida, and Western Kentucky. He also reports interest from Alabama and Florida State.
The 5-foot-11, 169-pound defensive back has checked out Florida and Florida State on recent trips.

"Florida was a real nice visit," Williams said. "When I went down there they were telling me how good their medical field is. They were talking about how everything is right there when you need it for that. They also showed me around the campus and I liked the atmosphere. I liked the different things I saw. I know I would also get a great education there.
"I talked with Coach (Travaris) Robinson, he is real cool," Williams added. "He is a pretty good coach. He broke everything down to me. He just broke everything down to a simple form for me. I know I would learn a lot from him down there."
Following his visit to Florida, Williams made the short trip from Madison to Tallahassee to check out Florida State.
"I liked the weight room a lot at Florida State and some of their other facilities were real nice," Williams said. "I like the rehabilitation pools, the ones where you can do therapy under water."
"I talked to a couple of coaches there and I liked what they told me," Williams added. "(Madison) also has some players that are already there, so I know how things are over there."
Williams mentioned that he has an interest in visiting a number of other schools, specifically mentioning Louisville and South Florida. At this stage of the process, he remains open.
"I don't have a leader right now," Williams said. "I don't know when I will make my decision. I am going to have to talk to my grandma and my coach. They are going to play a big role in my decision."
In addition to his defensive back duties, Williams is also an excellent kick returner.
