Williams ready for first official visit

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic linebacker Nate Williams, coming off a fine senior season, is ready to hit the recruiting trail this weekend.
"I've got a visit set up to Northwestern," Williams said. "I go on Friday.

"Then the next weekend I visit Toledo. That's the only two I have so far."
Williams has scholarship offers from both the Wildcats and Rockets. But he is also hoping a few other offers come through.
"I'm still waiting on Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Georgia Tech," Williams said.
Williams also has a scholarship offer on the table from Illinois and says the Illini are "possibly" still in the running.
But it's the other school from the state of Illinois that holds the lead.
"Right now I like Northwestern a lot," Williams said. "I like the whole package there."
The 6-foot-1 and 220 pound Williams made 88 tackles including six sacks during his senior season.
Williams is the No. 33 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania in the Rivals.com player rankings.
