Williams pushing forward with two offers

Playing for a team like Hoover (Ala.) High School, it's not hard for wide receiver Cornelius Williams to feel pretty confident going into the playoffs after his team finished the season 9-1.
Williams, a 6-foot, 172-pound prospect, knows that his team has a lot of offensive weapons like himself and that should help them go for another state title. With his team ready to do well in the playoffs, the two-star player is looking at where his recruitment will go after his final high school season.

"I've still got the same two offers from Southern Miss and Middle Tennessee," Williams said. "I've been thinking about visiting Southern Miss, but I haven't heard much from the coaches at Middle Tennessee."
No exact dates have been settled on by Williams, but those two schools along with Arkansas, UAB, Alabama, and Auburn are the main teams he's focusing on right now.
"I'm pretty wide open right now," Williams said about favorites. "I want to hold off on visits or narrowing my list until we finish the playoffs because we're going after another title here."
Williams also admits he thought recruiting would be picking up more at this point.
"I thought I'd have more offers by now, but I still get a whole lot of mail from Arkansas, UAB, Alabama, and Auburn. I don't know how serious they are. It will be up to them to take the next step."
