Williams lands fourth Pac-12 offer

Dwight Williams has talked some with the Arizona State coaching staff and now that the Sun Devils have offered the 2014 prospect plans to learn a lot more about the entire program.
The Gardena (Calif.) Serra added Arizona State to his offer list of Colorado, Oregon State and UCLA and he plans to do more research on the team to see if it would be the right fit moving forward.

"They've been sending just a lot of mail from coach (Chip) Long," Williams said. "Every day I would get something different.
"I talked to them on the phone. It was about three weeks ago was the last time I talked to them but before that I talked to them every other week."
The 6-foot-1, 212-pound prospect who shined this summer at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge in Atlanta said he's talked to numerous Arizona State coaches but only sporadically.
Williams hopes to communicate more with that staff to see where he stands with the Sun Devils. It's still early in his recruitment and the Gardena Serra recruit is nowhere near making his decision.
"I know coach (Paul) Randolph, coach Long and coach (DelVaughn) Alexander, those are the coaches that I've talked to so far, so it's pretty much getting to know them better now," Williams said.
A frequent visitor for USC home games, Williams was back in the Coliseum Saturday to see Arizona State in action. He was especially impressed with the defense early on and said he likes the Sun Devils' aggressiveness on that side of the ball.
"In the beginning ASU was getting after them," Williams said.
"They were getting after Matt Barkley a lot but he has Robert Woods and Marqise Lee so he just has to throw the ball up. They were getting after him on defense, both sides really got after each quarterback."
Williams now has four Pac-12 offers and has said numerous times he's open to going anywhere across the country to play college football.
