Williams is displaying versatility

Monroe (N.C.) Sun Valley athlete Jadarrius Williams is showing his versatility. The 5-foot-8, 170-pounder is hoping to jump start his recruitment by playing multiple positions.
"I haven't gotten any more offers besides a couple small schools like North Carolina A&T and Hampton," he said. "I'm still playing running back and I've gotten more catches. But, I'm also playing cornerback.

"I only played it last week and got an interception, I'm going to play it the rest of the year. I'm hoping to get that out there since I'm more cornerback size."
As a tailback, Williams has approximately 1,000-yards in seven games.
"I don't really have that many carries, about 90 something," he said. "I'm running a lot more physical and running people over."
Currently Williams holds offers from the two schools mentioned above along with Middle Tennessee State and East Carolina. Williams visited both of those schools recently.
"They were nice, I liked it down there at both schools," he said. "I would say I'm leaning more towards Middle Tennessee since the coach gives the players a chance and they have a lot more players my size.
"But, I'm trying to wait it out a month to see what I get at the end of the year and then make my decision. I'm not trying to rush into anything. I'm playing a lot of defense and want to see what that gets."
After taking the SAT next month, Williams plans to start taking official visits.
